LOWKEY.

Sketches & Thumbnails.

  • I created LOWKEY to explore the idea that style doesn’t have to be loud to stand out. I’m drawn to clothing that feels effortless but still intentional, and I wanted to design a brand that reflects that balance. This project gave me a way to combine minimal design with subtle, expressive elements, creating pieces that feel simple at first, but reveal more the longer you look.

  • LOWKEY is designed for Gen Z and young creatives who care about style but don’t want to follow every trend. It’s for people who prefer clean, wearable pieces but still want something that feels unique and personal. The audience values comfort, aesthetics, and quiet confidence over attention-seeking fashion.

  • My approach focused on balancing basics with edge. I started with simple, wearable silhouettes and layered in subtle graphic elements like bold typography, repetition, and slightly unexpected visuals. I kept the color palette minimal and consistent to maintain a clean look, while using contrast, scale, and placement to add interest. Across all pieces, the goal was to create designs that feel natural and easy to wear, but still visually engaging and distinctive.

Brand Guide.

The LOWKEY brand guide establishes a clean and consistent visual identity centered on effortless style and quiet confidence. It uses a minimal color palette, bold sans-serif typography, and a flexible logo system with subtle graphic elements like the star. Overall, the guide ensures all designs feel cohesive, modern, and aligned with the brand’s simple but edgy aesthetic.
